Eiffel Tower
What would Paris have been like without its iconic Eiffel Tower? It was built by Gustave Eiffel to honor the centenary of the French Revolution and was exhibited at Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1889. With approximately 7 million visitors per year and a maximum elevation of 130 feet, the Eiffel Tower is one of the most visited places in the world.
The 58 tour Eiffel, a restaurant is two stories high and stands about 150 feet [58 m] above the ground, is located on the first floor. At 115 meters, the view from the second level is the best, with a view of the diving below. Finally, on the 3rd floor, 275 meters, you can see what Gustave Eiffel’s office looked like. It is possible to use the stairs and climb the steps of the brave (1,665 to the top).
Champs Elysées / Arc of Triumph
Napoleon authorized the construction of a triumphal arch dedicated to the glory of imperial power after falling under the spell of ancient Roman architecture. It is the largest monument in the world like it, built in the nineteenth century. Its pillars are adorned with stunning carvings. The names of 558 generals and significant victories were recorded at the arc summit. The Tomb of the Unknown French Soldier is located below the Arc de Triomphe.
A beautiful view of Paris can be found from the panoramic terrace over the entrance. The Arc de Triomphe stands 50 meters long, 45 meters wide, and 22 meters deep at Place de l’Etoile, leading to the Champs Elysees, called “the world’s most beautiful boulevard.” Between the Place de la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe, it is 1.9 km. There are many high-end retailers (Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Guerlain, Montblanc, etc.), entertainment venues (Lido, theaters), cafes and well-known restaurants (Fouquet’s).
Notre Dame Cathedral
One of the permanent features of Paris: Notre-Dame de Paris, also known as Notre Dame, is a Roman Catholic church in the eastern part of the Ile de la Cité. It is widely regarded as one of the outstanding French and European examples of French Gothic architecture. Surrounded by dozens of statues and murals, this cathedral, which began in 1163 and ended in 1345, is extraordinary.
Before climbing the 387 stairs to the top of the towers, we recommend that you visit the church. The trek to the top of the towers is challenging, but it is rewarding to see the entire region and the close-up views of the iconic gargoyles.
Louvre Museum
The Louvre is one of the world’s most famous art museums. Once a royal palace, this ancient tower is located in the center of Paris covers an area of 652,300 square feet [60,600 sq. m]. The museum resides in the Louvre, which Philip II established as a fortress in the late 12th century. The ruins of these sites can be seen from the museum’s basement.

Montmartre
Montmartre is a 427-foot-high [130 m] hill with the same name as the surrounding district. The Sacred Heart Basilica, full of white stone found at the conference, is its most famous feature. It was completed in 1919 and was handed over to the French victims of the Franco-Prussian War of 1870.
Visit the Square of Tertre, a few blocks from the Basilica, if you can reach it. Many artists have developed easels to paint guests or to display their work. Place du Tertre commemorates the early twentieth century when Montmartre was a center of modern art, with artists such as Amedeo Modigliani, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, and Vincent van Gogh working there. A few feet from the Square of Tertre is the Espace Salvador Dal, a museum dedicated mainly to sculptures and paintings by a Spanish artist.
